Attune Yoga offers studio yoga classes and workshops, set within a co-op of physical therapists, acupuncturists, and allied health and wellness practitioners operating independently yet collaboratively.
Yes, the classes are taught by yoga instructors and physical therapists knowledgeable about the human body and how to modify/explain poses so that they are accessible to everyone. However, if you have a history of injury and prefer a few one-on-one sessions to get comfortable first before jumping into classes and workshops, this is a great option that we offer.
What type of yoga can I expect at Attune?
Our emphasis at Attune is on workshops, with the intention of offering a wide range of styles, skills, philosophies, and perspectives. Our teachers have experience and training in yoga disciplines that range from hatha/ vinyasa (both can be considered "flow") to ashtanga and iyengar. We also offer:
education on meditation, chakras, traditional yoga philosophy
practice with breathwork, meditation, and home routines
experiences with yoga nidras, sound bowls, acupuncture, and other healing modalities combined with yoga
We are always open to new suggestions and bringing in new teachers!
